My concept for this piece was based on my interpretation of different states of consciousness. Specifically the two versions of self (asleep and wake)
and their shared relationship with the dream world. I often find myself trying to recollect events that happened in my dreams as real - along with recollecting events
that happen in real life as dreams. The symbol I used to express this was the game of darts. Two players that represent the two versions of self, playing the same game against each other in different realms of reality. I decided on the title to be based on a specific game of darts called around the clock, and shifted the board clockwise to reflect the skewed perspective we feel as the two players become one.
